Thriller matches from start to finish
The final day of the Legends stage delivered exciting matches and crazy results, as we have learned to expect from the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
It all started with Natus Vincere and FaZe clashing for a playoff spot. The clash of the two best teams of the past two years offered three exciting maps. Natus Vincere stole away FaZe's pick of Inferno, FaZe blew Natus Vincere out on Mirage, and then pulled off a comeback from 15-9 to win Anubis in overtime to, once again, stay alive in the Major cycle.

fnatic took on underdogs Into the Breach next, and it looked like everything was under control on map one. But Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel and Cai "CYPHER" Watson had different plans, and powered the British team to the country's first Major playoff appearance with wins on Overpass and Vertigo.
Finally, Apeks made two comebacks, first on Vertigo and then on Ancient (from 14-3), to eliminate Ninjas in Pyjamas from competition in a thriller series that left the Ninjas heartbroken.

Player of the day

Helvijs "broky" Saukants takes the cake as the player of the day thanks to his 40-bomb on the decider map against Natus Vincere, proving key in the comeback and overtime victory. The Latvian also posted a series-high 1.33 rating as FaZe once again staved off elimination from the Major cycle.
An honorable mention goes to another AWPer, CRUC1AL, as the 26-year-old spearheaded Into the Breach to a win over fnatic and a playoff spot.
